University Students Visit the Fire Training School 11/20/17
West Side companies in the form of Engine 3-10 and Truck 3-5 were at the Brick Borough Fire Training School today with students from the Emergency Management class at Brick Borough University. Members from both companies demonstrated the functions of the engine and tiller, and some students even climbed the ladder up to the top of the training tower. There are also opportunities at Station 9 (E3-10) by the college campus for students to live-in and volunteer with the career members.
9/11 Memorial Service 9/11/17
At 3:00 PM, on September 11, 2017, members from Brick Borough, St. Sprenklesburg, BrickLeigh Heights, several other local departments, and citizens from the community gathered at Brick Borough Station 1 for the annual 9/11 memorial ceremony. The ceremony honored all of the first responders who lost their lives on that fateful day, gave a moment of silence to remember all of the U.S. citizen's lost that day, and took a moment to remember those dealing with the after-affects still to this day. Independence Day Fireworks 7/3/17
At 9:00 PM on July 3, 2017, the fireworks display was conducted over Brick Lake. There were several refreshments stands, and Engine 3-6 an LegoSillyFun VFD Ladder 1 were on stand-by at the fireworks event.
Independence Day Parade 7/3/17
The annual 4th of July was held on July 3, 2017 Brick Borough. The parade started at 2:30 PM at Station 2. It followed Main Street until Marion Avenue and then all of the participating parade units ended up in the public space part of Brick Borough Wildlife Park. All parade participants were there until 5:00 PM. Truck 3-4 and Tower 3-1 held the flag up over the parade units at the first intersection the units passed through. Units from Brick Borough Fire Department, BrickLeigh Heights Fire Department, St. Sprenklesburg Fire and Rescue Services, Citizen's Volunteer Fire Company, Legoardia Airport Fire Department, Brick Borough Regional EMS, Brick Borough Memorial Hospital, 24/7 Towing, City Towing, Brick Borough Police Department, and Brick Borough Sheriff's Department participated in the parade.
Truck Company Training 6/1/17
On June 1, 2017, Truck Company Training was held at Brick Borough Fire Training School. Brick Borough Truck 3-4 and St. Sprenklesburg Truck 17 participated in the drill with their new aerials. They practiced deployment, ladder placing, ladder ascending and descending, as well as several water flowing excercises.

NE Stations High-Rise Ops Training 5/5/17
On this rainy May 5th day, crews from Station 4 and 7 visited the Brick Borough Fire Training School to practice on high-rise Ops. Tower 3-4, Engine 3-6, and Engine 3-9 participated in the exercise using the school's five-story burn tower.
Spring Cleaning 4/15/17
April the 15th was spring cleaning day at the firehouse. Crews from Engines 3-1 and 3-2, Tower 3-1, and Attack 3-1 brought out their trucks for a wash while the other trucks of Station 1 were out on a working fire that would eventually bring these rigs to the scene. Reserve Engine 3-1 also got a wash and a wax for the upcoming Easter Parade Sunday on the 16th.
Pumper Tanker Training 1/19/17
On January 19, 2017, Pumper Tankers 3 and 3-2 went out and trained doing several different key things: drafting, shuttling, and dumping with Porta-Ponds. After a few more days of intense training, the new truck should be ready to place in service.
